North Side Family Retreat: A Day of Faith, Fellowship, and Fun

On Sunday, May 5, families from Northwest Catholic, St. Catherine, and St. Margaret Mary schools came together for a heartwarming and spiritually enriching event at the North Side Family Retreat. From 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., attendees experienced a day filled with worship, fellowship, and activities designed to strengthen their faith and create lasting memories.

The retreat began with a warm welcome and an opening prayer, setting a serene and reflective tone for the day. Families gathered in a spirit of unity, ready to embark on a journey of spiritual growth and connection.

Throughout the afternoon, families participated in a variety of engaging activities. These activities, which ranged from creative crafts to interactive games, were thoughtfully designed to encourage cooperation, interaction, and spiritual enrichment.

One of the highlights of the retreat was the group discussions. Facilitated by experienced leaders, these conversations provided a platform for families to share their faith, experiences, challenges, and triumphs. The discussions were insightful and uplifting, fostering a sense of community and understanding among attendees.

Amidst the activities and discussions, there were moments dedicated to prayer and reflection. These quiet times allowed families to connect with God and with each other, creating a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere. The prayers and reflections helped attendees to pause and appreciate the spiritual significance of the day.

The North Side Family Retreat was a resounding success, leaving families with cherished memories and a renewed sense of faith. It was a day of joy, laughter, and spiritual growth, proving that when families come together in worship and fellowship, they can create something truly special.
